About Kazakh National Medical University
Kazakh national medical university is situated in the city of Almaty, Kazakhstan. This university was founded in the year 1930. This university was given the title of the national university by the government of Kazakhstan in the year 2001 because of its best academic history. The university has 11,000+ students (national and international) with 1500+ professors who all are specialists in their field. 2. SEMEY STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
About Semey State Medical University
Semey State Medical University was founded in 1952. It is considered as one of the best medical
universities in Kazakhstan. Previously, the university was known as ‘Semipalatinsk State Medical
institute’, but after a period of about 40 years the university’s name was changed to Semey State
Medical University.
The first faculty at the university was the medicine faculty which started in the year 1953. The
university introduced more faculties gradually which includes Pediatrics which started in 1963,
Stomatology faculty which started in 1991, Medico Prophylactic, Pharmaceutical faculty and general
medicine faculty started in 2003.
Currently there are 3500 students studying in the university. Today there are 450 teachers at the
university.
Students can gain some practical experience and can do their internship at the university’s many
affiliated hospitals where mentors and doctors working there can guide the students.

About Al-Farabi Kazakh National University
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was founded in 1934. It is the leading institution of the system of higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and it is the oldest classical university in the republic.
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Kazakhstan is one of the top Medical Colleges in Kazakhstan. The Al-Farabi University is also known as KAZNU Kazakhstan.
It has taken its name from the renowned philosopher and scholar named Al-Farabi. In the year 2001, this was recognized as the national university. Currently, more than 20,000 students study at the university and there are 2500 faculty members teaching at the university.
